Night R-NIGHT(A) – a qualification for night flights (aircraft) is an essential qualification for a professional pilot, suitable also for private pilots. Graduates of the NIGHT(A) – qualification for night flights (aircraft) course will expand their knowledge and skills in flying at night.
The night qualification is an essential qualification for a professional pilot. This qualification needs to be obtained before commencing training of the Commercial Pilot License CPL(A) course or before starting training to obtain the qualification IR(A) if the pilot wants to acquire instrument rating at night as well. The night qualification (night endorsement) authorizes you to fly after sunset, under good visibility conditions, and to land at an airport equipped with an lighted runway. You can obtain the night qualification immediately after completing training for Private Pilot License PPL(A).
Flight training:
Total flight training: 5 hours
of which with an instructor in dual control: 3 hours*
solo flights: 5 takeoffs and 5 landings
including 1 hour of navigation flight with an instructor covering a minimum distance of 50 km (27 NM), during which the pilot will perform 1 landing at a different airport than the departure airport.
Theory instruction:
Theory instruction in the NIGHT(A) course – qualification for night flights (aircraft) is individualized and combined with flight training.
Total hours of theoretical instruction: 5 hours (self-study + consultations)
Study materials and textbooks are included in the eLearning platform and are covered in the course fee.
The price you will have to pay to learn to fly and obtain a pilot’s license varies from person to person and depends on many factors. The price should not be the main factor in deciding where to get your pilot’s license. When it comes to flight training, cheap is rarely good.
Basic factors affecting the cost of training:
Your goals in aviation
Type of aircraft for training with regard to goals
How much time can I devote to training
Your goals in flying have a significant impact on how your overall flight training will be conducted. If you want to fly only recreationally, training in an aircraft with lighter avionics will be significantly cheaper than compared to a businessman or future professional pilot.
The price of pilot training for individual pilot licenses is set in connection with the number of flight hours in the curriculum, the time of ground preparations, and theoretical instruction in the classroom. Further, it is necessary to count additional expenses for landing and other airport fees and fees for exams at authorities and payments for obtaining necessary permits for training.
